Several bugs new introduced with the PostgreSQL support:

* There is support for a system timer under way,
which will allow you to subscribe to time controlled messages;
that code broke the watchdog code, which in turn corrupted
the repositories, when the heartbeat killed the server...

* Changes in the implementation of the agreement protocol created
fake timeout messages.  As result there was at most one transaction
per agent per server start.

* The replication code used to parse XML encoded places.  This could
result in modifications to ignorable whitespace.  But the simple MD5
checksum, which we currently use to verify the integity of the replicate,
chokes, hence replication would fail under then.
