PrimaryTextLanguage

Primary Text Language

It's an unfortunate truth: we all speak our very own language. Various environmental influences train us to speak the way our daily correspondends can understand us to some extend.

Given that this all here has been written to describe something about languages, communication, ideas and understanding in general I'll have to explain the policy when choosing a primary text language.

Policy

It's already hard enough to truly understand each other, hence the primary text language is choosen to ease understanding. This implies that we need a compromise between readers (having most votes) and author needs (who can veto).

The parts of this writing have different focus, which influences the language. For text focus use language:

technical
english only
user documentation
i18n, english; translate ASAP
social
i18n, english
philosophical
author native, for jfw: german

(i11n - international - means intended audience native.)

If you're going to add text please try to follow the same policy. At least explain in writing why, if you don't.
