The LinkCtrl controler establishes a new link in "this" place. Besides the new value of this place (see core api, the 1st element of the mind:reply) an link element is returned.

There is a second LinkCtrl1? controller, which does the same for slightly different form content: The form must already contain the complete mind:link element, which specifies the operation, while the former controller assembles that element from a web form.
